Our C-Range of compostable bio-plastic packaging has similar properties and look and feel as conventional plastic but comes with the benefit of being fully compostable. The products will biodegrade if disposed of properly through home composting or industrial composting, depending on the material. This sustainable packaging innovation is helping to reduce packaging waste across the world ultimately creating a more eco-friendly food packaging industry.

Our C Range products

The C-Range includes compostable shrink wrap and films, stretch wrap, cling film, adhesive tape, nets and bags, which are all fully compostable if disposed of in the right way. They provide the protection, presentation, and preservation of food for both primary and secondary packaging applications. Compostable films and packaging products are enabling our food packaging industry to get one step closer to a more sustainable future.

cBG

A home compostable bag, bio-based from renewable resources using versatile materials supplied in a range of grades.

cSHRINK

An industrially compostable shrink film that is 100% bio-based from renewable sources, including corn and other biopolymers.

KEY FEATURES

  • Strong, durable seals and tear resistance.
  • Outstanding clarity and machinability.

  • Bundling multi-packs, such as drinks.
  • Secondary wrap for packed goods.

cSTRETCH

A home-compostable stretch film, or cling film, that is 100% bio-based from renewable resources. Has similar properties to PE / PVC film.

KEY FEATURES

  • Excellent stretch capabilities.
  • Self-stickiness and none-puncture.
  • Good material breathability.

APPLICATION EXAMPLES

  • Protection in transit and bundling.

cTPE

An industrially compostable adhesive tape that is 90% bio-based and suitable for a variety of purposes including office or home usage.

KEY FEATURES

  • Reliable adhesion to varied surfaces.
  • Robust with low elongation.
  • Tearable by hand and easy to unwind.

APPLICATION EXAMPLES

  • Sealing for sustainable packaging.
  • Closure of cardboard boxes.
  • Utilisation on automated machines.

Compostable extruded net for wide range of applications. Closure with heat or metal clip, and can incorporate paper label or handle. Adjustable size with maximum 2KG of product.

KEY FEATURES

  • Superior tear and heat resistance.
  • Can be supplied in a variety of colours.
  • Suitable for manual fill or for fill and seal automated machines.

APPLICATION EXAMPLES

  • Fresh produce, nuts, wrapped sweets.  
  • Protection for flower bud, bottles etc.

A compostable cling film suitable for wrapping food products. Ideal for domestic use or food service, it can also run on automatic packing lines for fresh produce.
